Refactory – the hiring blueprint for technology skills in Uganda

Tech companies in Uganda are struggling to hire developers who have the competence the industry demands. Refactory was created by and for the industry to fill this "skill gap". Refactory is the blueprint for what Ugandan tech companies look for when they hire developers.

Refactory gives students an intensive introduction to tech. They learn both the technical and non-technical skills required to meet the demands of a tech industry that competes globally. The technical modules are designed together with ICT companies and follows industry standards and best practice methods.

Our Catalyst Course is a 3-month program that covers everything from Javascript and Git, to project management, system security and leadership. Refactory is a full-time course, but with emphasis on self-study and practical tasks,  allowing students to be in charge of their own success.
